Job Description:
As a Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems of our corrugator equipment are operating at peak efficiency.
Your primary role will involve diagnosing electrical issues, performing maintenance and repairs, and collaborating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your electrical skills and contribute significantly to our manufacturing operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and components on corrugator machinery.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
* Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, testing, and lubricating electrical components.
* Install, repair, and replace electrical components such as motors, relays, sensors, and control panels.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including parts usage and repair history.

About the role:

* Update the Massena Smelting Forecast file with accurate power bill data (mid-month and end of month).
* Supply accurate Power Reduction bids to Third Party for participation in the NYISO DSASP & SCR programs.
* Provide support, training and administration of all personnel on the “on-call” list to meet corporate mandates to minimize potline power interruptions and respond to Power Operational Alarms.

To ensure a Production Schedule is developed for assigned product(s) to meet customer requirements.

Camera Inspection services involves providing our customers with visual inspection and evaluation of sanitary, storm, combined, and other sewer and pipe cleaning and inspection services.
This typically involves using manual push, and robotic camera units to inspect pipes, as well as using high power water jetting to clean sewers and other pipes prior to inspection. These services may involve confined space entry into sewer and other similar structures.
Vacuum Excavation Services utilize either Air-Knifing Technology or Hydro-Excavation to safely excavate holes, trenches, or pits for our clients without the risk of damage to utilities.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for being able to set up, troubleshoot, maintain and repair production equipment as required.
Will share responsibility with Machine Operator for the operation of the production line at or above standard on a consistent basis.
