Junior Computational Analyst
Overview of the role:
The Junior Computational Analyst will work under the direction of the Senior Linguists & Data Scientists to provide linguistic development and enhancement of current product lines and products under development.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a high level of knowledge and understanding of computational linguistics and concepts of grammar.
Responsibilities:
• Provide linguistics support for both active products and products under development.
• Collect data as requested
• Perform lexicography work
• Perform language syntax research
• Generate XML for i2 Group core products
• Write regex patterns
• Develop rules for entity and relationship extraction
• Collect and curate data for demos, sales, and customer requests
• Customize knowledge base for specific customer needs
• Attend scrums and linguistics & research department meetings as necessary
• Develop linguistic rules and lexicons
• Protect the integrity and confidentiality of all data, information, brand and trademarks
• Keep supervisor informed of progress and complete assigned tasks

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computational Linguistics, Linguistics, Computer Science with Linguistics focus, Library Science or equivalent discipline or at least 3 years of directly related experience

Purpose:
The Associate Director, Head & Neck Data Strategy & Innovation will help lead and coordinate activities related to the consumption and transformation of Oncology data to support ongoing downstream applications such as incentive compensation, field reporting, analytics, marketing and forecasting.
This individual will assist in the governance of all Oncology business process rules and provides communications regarding status of data quality and impact of market events.
This role will also collaborate with data vendors and agencies on data acquisition, onboarding and contracting and ensuring value for data related investments.
Functioning as subject matter expert, this role will support ad hoc data -centric business questions, partner with IT and StAT (Strategy, Analytics And Transformation) team to proactively resolve data issues and support large, complex data initiatives in Solid Tumor therapeutic areas.
This person will also develop, implement and maintain Head & Neck Data Strategy governance and data quality.
