The Collaboration and Support Center (CSC) in midtown Atlanta was developed to provide greater remote support to Georgia-Pacific (GP) manufacturing operations.
The CSC team partners with operating facilities by providing collaboration and support across multiple disciplines of expertise (GP and Vendors) to achieve scalable problem-solving across manufacturing sites and businesses.
The team uses the best available technology with an enterprise-wide approach, primarily focusing on Asset Health, Process Safety, and Process Optimization.
In addition, we are currently seeking qualified professionals to fill the Electrical Asset Health Remote Engineer role to support our asset health monitoring and strategy development of multiple GP sites.

This center will evolve and grow over time, so being flexible and adapting as the CSC adapts to business needs will be crucial.
A successful individual in this role must be willing to take personal initiative to understand unit operations, gain relevant knowledge, engage SMEs, and be able to work individually and as a part of a team in a dynamic environment.
You must also be responsible and responsive to the needs of the sites that operate 24/7.

* Review alerts from models deployed on equipment, drilling down to the root cause of the issue and communicating new and worsening issues to the mill.
* Partner with Data Science teams to build and deploy Machine Learning models and review outputs of Machine Learning models to improve models and processes.
* Partner with IT teams to develop data standards and visualization tools for better remote monitoring.
* Partner with sites to plan, implement, and execute reliability projects and strategies.
* Provide mentorship in PBM® culture and increase engineers' technical abilities based on internal and external experience to the CSC.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Under general supervision follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to complete various tasks on the production floor.
* Performs functions that require full knowledge of general aspects of the job.
* Performs packaging and batch making functions for the line.
* Performs production preparation as directed following current production and QC procedures guidelines and SOPs.
* Assists in monitoring all operations.

* Interfaces with PLC and PC applications in order to operate the line.
* Performs reconciliations regularly.
* Performs breakdown and assembly of production machines.
* Troubleshoots equipment issues and performs minor maintenance of equipment.

* Performs all paperwork functions related to the batching and packaging operations.
Maintains logs batch records and all applicable documentation in accordance with internal standard operating procedures.
* Participates in all activities required to maintain a clean and safe plant.
* Performs all production duties on an as needed basis to meet production requirements and comply with GMPs.
* Loads and unloads raw material and finished product utilizing forklift and other material handling devices as needed in a safe and efficient manner.
* May perform Material Handler duties and responsibilities as needed.
* Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
* Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization.
* May provide assistance to Production Operator I with more general support tasks that require a better understanding of functions as directed by immediate supervisor.
* May refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.
* Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution as deemed necessary.
* Reviews and complies with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures local state and federal laws and regulations.

En este rol estarás a cargo de:
* Recibir, revisar, procesar en SAP y confirmar, (Facturas, Notas de Débito, Notas de Crédito, Reportes de Gastos, Pre-registros en SAP), de las compras y gastos (bienes y servicios), verificando que estén completos y que contengan las autorizaciones respectivas, con el fin de procesar la información y que se minimicen los errores en el proceso de registro.

* Verificar cada una de las Órdenes de Compra a ser ingresadas en las facturas en SAP, asegurar el ingreso de materiales a las bodegas, así como las aceptaciones de servicios con el objetivo de asegurar el cumplimiento de la Triple Validación.
* Respetar los términos de pago negociados con los proveedores, en función con los lineamientos de la compañía para garantizar el correcto flujo de caja.
* Atender al cliente interno y externo, mediante el asesoramiento y evacuación de consultas, con el fin orientarlos en el manejo o procesamiento de la información enviada o solicitada, tanto en lo que respecta a los procesos de trabajo locales como en el manejo del sistema siempre que esté dentro de los lineamientos de controles internos y del manejo de datos.
* Participar y apoyar en forma activa la implementación de todos los programas de mejoramiento y desarrollo impulsados por la compañía.
* Garantizar el cumplimiento de la Política de Calidad establecida, en donde las actividades del puesto de trabajo estén orientadas a satisfacer las expectativas del cliente (interno -externo) y del consumidor final.
* Trabajar en forma activa y responsable en los procesos de integraciones o implementaciones que la compañía realice respecto a los servicios y clientes del GBS
