The Mariner Development Specialist is responsible for executing and continuously improving the onboarding and development experience for new hire mariners.

Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor manufacturing environment.
This individual will safely and efficiently inspect, operate, and maintain an overhead crane in a precast production plant.
Job Responsibilities
* Safely operate an overhead crane to pour concrete into molds and strip concrete pieces weighing up to excess of 20 tons
* Properly identify forms and products and ensure safe handling of concrete pieces
* Maintain pre-operation checklist and inspection
* Clean and maintain equipment
* Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* At least 1 year of related experience preferred
* Willingness to also work as a laborer on the production floor as needed
* Excellent depth perception and coordination
* Able to understand and apply basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division) to the extent of determining weight of items to be lifted
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Position Overview
The Vac Truck Operator uses high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and contribute to various construction projects.
This person may also operate a sweeper truck and work under the direction of the excavation crew during down time.
Wage Range: $25-$30 per hour, dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
* Safely operate hydrovac equipment and performing hydrovac duties in a variety of working environments.
* Safely operate sweeper truck.
* Travel to job sites throughout western Colorado.
* Will work under an excavation crew when not operating a vacuum or sweeper truck.
* Protect critical underground infrastructure.
* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Maintain clean, organized trucks and job sites.
* Follow all DOT regulations and Pro-Vac safety standards.
* Attend safety meetings
* Performing routine inspections and minor repairs of the hydrovac equipment

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
* High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Valid Class A or Class B CDL; Tanker and Air Brake Endorsements required.
* Previous vacuum truck, industrial services, construction, utility, or related equipment experience preferred.
Work Requirements
* Must be 18 years in age or older.
* Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
* Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
* Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
* Experience in construction or utility work is a plus.
* Familiar and compliant with Federal DOT safety and drug and alcohol testing regulations
* Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
* Ability to work manual labor in varying weather conditions.
* Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred.
* Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and extended travel assignments as needed.
