WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an LVN, you will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising and supporting the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants to ensure quality resident care.

Essential responsibilities include:


* Provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and established policies and procedures.


* Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered.


* Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate medical personnel.


* Perform nursing assessments, treatments, and procedures within your scope of practice.


* Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation and maintain resident medical records.


* Supervise, direct, and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on your assigned shift.


* Ensure residents receive care in accordance with their individual care plans and personal preferences.


* Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.


* Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.


* Promote infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.


* Create a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS


* Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered California LVN license.


* Graduate of an approved LVN nursing program.


* Current CPR certification.


* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.


* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.


* Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with nursing assistants and other healthcare professionals.


* Compassion, patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to resident care.


* Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
