Position Overview

Take the next step in your operations career and help lead asphalt manufacturing operations across the Beckley area.

In this role, you'll work closely with HMA leadership to drive safe, efficient, and reliable asphalt production while helping lead the people and processes behind a successful operation.

What You'll Do


* Help lead day-to-day asphalt manufacturing operations across the Beckley area.


* Partner with HMA leadership to develop and execute operating plans that support production and business objectives.


* Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring employees follow established safety practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


* Coordinate production schedules to meet the needs of paving operations and internal and external customers.


* Support production planning, staffing, equipment utilization, and maintenance activities to maximize plant performance.


* Provide direction to forepersons and production teams, helping ensure people, equipment, and facilities are utilized effectively.


* Develop employees through coaching, feedback, training, and leadership development.


* Monitor repair and maintenance spending and help identify opportunities to improve reliability and operational performance.


* Partner across operations, quality, maintenance, and other business functions to improve efficiency and solve operational challenges.


* Assist with budgets, purchasing, capital expenditures, inventory, and financial and operational reporting.
