Desk Nurse (LVN/LPN) - Part-Time / On-Call

💲 Pay Range: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour

Looking for flexible nursing opportunities? Peninsula Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dependable Desk Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our team on a part-time/on-call basis.

In this role, you'll provide quality nursing care, support residents' health and well-being, and work alongside a dedicated healthcare team in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities


* Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


* Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to physicians and nursing leadership.


* Complete accurate charting and clinical documentation.


* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.


* Support and supervise CNAs and nursing assistants during assigned shifts.


* Transcribe physician orders and maintain resident medical records.


* Respond professionally to resident, family, and staff concerns.


* Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.


* Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.


* Maintain nursing supplies and medication inventory.

Qualifications


* Current and active California LVN/LPN license.


* Current CPR/BLS certification.


* At least 1 year of skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferred.


* PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred.


* Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
