Business Manager - Health Department

Manitowoc County Health Department is seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional to oversee the administrative, financial, and support operations of the Health Department.

This position will: Supervise, train, and evaluate administrative and support staff, including scheduling and personnel management.

Oversee accounting, billing, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and grant compliance.

Assist with grant development, budget preparation, financial projections, and annual budget presentations.

Develop and maintain departmental financial and administrative policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with records retention, HIPAA, Civil Rights, and state and federal reporting requirements.

Coordinate department meetings, trainings, and Board of Health meeting materials and minutes.

Serve as the primary contact for facility maintenance, repairs, telephone services, and building access.

Coordinate audit preparation and work with external auditors.
