Director of Maintenance and Snow Operations
What You'll Lead The Director leads a management team responsible for mowing, lawn care, irrigation, horticulture, enhancements, and snow operations.
You will be responsible for: Leading, coaching, and developing managers and the field leadership team Owning the financial and operational performance of an approximately $6.5M division Driving labor efficiency, throughput, gross margin, and crew productivity Building and maintaining strong operating systems and accountability Creating disciplined scheduling, routing, morning launch, and end-of-day processes Ensuring equipment and fleet readiness through effective preventive-maintenance and repair systems Establishing and maintaining high standards for quality and client service Leading divisional safety performance and accountability Using KPIs, scorecards, field observations, and financial data to identify problems and drive swift improvement Ensuring Aspire and established operating processes are followed consistently Planning and leading all facets of snow operations Partnering with Sales, Account Management, HR, Finance, Fleet, and other leaders Participating as an active member of the company's leadership team Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are the kind of leader who naturally notices when a process isn't working and wants to fix it.
You believe expectations should be clear, results should be measurable, and accountability should be consistent.
You don't accept recurring problems as simply "the way we've always done it." You ask why, find the root cause, build a better system, and make sure the improvement sticks.
You use data to understand an operation, but you don't manage exclusively from behind a desk.
You want to see the crews, equipment, properties, routes, and processes firsthand.
Most importantly, you understand that great leadership is not about becoming the person who solves every problem.
It's about building managers, people, and systems capable of producing great results consistently.
