Successful candidates will have all of the following:



* Must be a Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program with a current unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in PA.


* Must possess, as a minimum, an associate degree from an accredited school- Bachelor of Science degree in the health care field preferred.


* Minimum of one (1) year respiratory experience in an acute and/or subacute unit preferred.


* MUST have Active CPR Certification (BLS PREFERRED with Skills ) and ACLS certifications.

Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a physical examination and 2-step PPD or equivalent.


* Must be 18 years of age or older


* Clear Cisive Background Check- last 7 years reviewed



* Experience with Point Click Care is preferred


* Compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients


* Understanding of Patient Rights


* Ability to maintain all required continuing education


* Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.


* Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.

Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
