Rooms Division Manager

A fantastic opportunity for a Room Division Manager to join our team at Kimpton Charlotte Square!
We are offering a salary of £50,000.00-55,000.00(depending on experience), and an annual bonus of 15% based on targets.

Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel brings together traditional Edinburgh architecture with an exciting and fresh indoor feel, offering our guests a modern luxurious stay.

Welcoming locals to relax in our Garden area (a must visit), experiencing mouth-watering food in BABA restaurant, or guests from far and wide being pampered in our state-of-the-art Spa – we cover it all!

As a Rooms Division Manager, your day-to-day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing) …
•    Reporting into our Hotel Manager and leading the Front Office, Housekeeping and Concierge teams with a strong focus on excellent customer service.
•    Ensure daily hotel operations deliver high levels of guest service, meeting and exceeding strategic goals.
•    Ensure smooth and efficient Room Division operations, aligned with guest expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
•    Be accountable for the overall performance of the teams, including guest experience, workforce planning (rostering), and departmental profit delivery.
•    Act as an active member of the Hotel Management Team, contributing to the success of the hotel.
•    Drive improvement projects across our Rooms division.
•    Oversee development of future talent across Rooms division and recruitment strategy.

We are searching for a true service superstar, someone who thrives in providing our Guests with an excellent service throughout their stay.

In addition to this, we are looking for someone who has:
•    To have managed one or more hotel departments for in a similar environment
•    Proven track record with success at training and implementation of process and audit
•    Thorough knowledge of statutory regulations ensuring the business is always operated within the law
•    Good understanding of service optimization tools and systems to support driving results
