This position offers a hybrid / remote schedule of four 10-hour days! Highlands Oncology began in 1996 with three physicians and a desire to change the face of oncology care in our community.

Job Summary: Provide a full range of on-site clinical medical physics support at Highlands Oncology clinics, including conductingroutine quality assurance and calibration of megavoltage therapy units and equipment, in-vitro or phantommeasurements as identified and required by the facility, state or federal regulations.

Our clinics are located in Northwest Arkansas- Fayetteville, Rogers, and Mountain Home.

They are equipped with: 4 Truebeams, 1 Halcyon, 1 iX, and 1 Nucletron AfterloaderEclipse/AriaOncentra for HDRBrainlab/Elements SRSVisionRTClearCheck Job Duties / Responsibilities: Works closely and in conjunction with dosimetrist and radiation oncologist during simulations and/or initial patient set ups as needed to ensure that accurate data is obtained for treatment planning.

Comply with the high standards of accuracy, precision, and timeliness in all aspects of acquiring data, preparing treatment plans, secondary calculation, special medical physics consults or other related physics/dosimetrist functions for the department.

Assist in the commissioning of new therapy and therapy related equipment acquiring necessary data and ensuring that all quality assurance tests follow state and federal regulations.

Participates fully in the QA program for the department as well as the QA/RM program for the facility.

Participates in weekly chart rounds/peer review.
