Job Overview

The Manager, Product Group Engineering leads a team of technology and product engineers responsible for the design, development, integration, and lifecycle management of digital and technology solutions supporting DePuy Synthes R&D and product platforms.

This role partners closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high‑impact technology solutions that enable innovation, speed to market, and operational excellence.

This is a people‑leader role with both technical depth and strong cross‑functional influence.

Key Responsibilities


* Lead and manage a team of product group engineers responsible for delivering technology solutions across R&D and product platforms, ensuring alignment to business and technology strategies.



* Own the end‑to‑end engineering lifecycle, including requirements definition, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of product‑aligned technology solutions.



* Partner with Product Management, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and IT stakeholders to translate business and scientific needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions.



* Ensure engineering practices adhere to applicable regulatory, quality, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements relevant to medical technology and R&D environments.



* Drive engineering excellence through standardized processes, design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
