Warehouse Checker/Selector

The Warehouse Checker/Selector ensures the accuracy, completeness, and condition of institutional customer orders before pallet wrapping and staging.

This position performs physical inspections of completed pallets against final order reports, identifies and documents discrepancies, coordinates necessary corrections with the original selector, and verifies that all corrections have been completed before approving pallets for wrapping.

Approximately 60% of the position is dedicated to order verification and quality control, with the remaining 40% devoted to warehouse order selection.

The position requires accurate documentation, attention to detail, safe material handling, and frequent handling of products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Although the position can require corrections and withholding pallets from wrapping until verification is complete, it has no supervisory or disciplinary responsibilities.
