Your Job

Koch Inc., is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS.

A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation.

They should have a strong understanding of accounting concepts, good critical and economic thinking, strong communication skills, and solid leadership skills.

This role will partner with cross-functional teams to support and enable sound decision-making by executive leadership.

What You Will Do


* Lead and develop a high-performing accounting and cash team , building capability, accountability, financial acumen, and a culture of continuous improvement.


* Drive finance transformation and modernization by leveraging analytics, automation, AI, and Copilot to improve processes, eliminate waste, strengthen controls, and create value.


* Serve as a trusted business partner to senior leaders , providing insights, challenging thinking, and influencing decisions that support long-term business success.


* Leverage data and technology to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and deliver financial insights that improve decision-making across the organization.


* Gain broad exposure across Koch by partnering with finance, IT, business units, and leadership teams on strategic initiatives, transformation efforts, and value-creation opportunities.


* Ensure strong financial stewardship through ownership of the trial balance, close process, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, audit support, and accurate financial reporting.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Experience in an Accounting or Finance focused leadership role(s) that requires a working knowledge of financial accounting principles, the general ledger, month end close, account reconciliation and analysis, and the purpose/application of internal financial controls


* Leadership experience developing the capabilities of others, leading transformation, being a driver of company initiatives, project leadership, or similar


* Process and Transformation focus that embraces and leads change.

Experience standardizing and optimizing processes and work products


* Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)


* Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field


* Public audit experience, FSM, SAP or OneStream experience


* Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau)
