Our Georgia-Pacific facility located in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Lubrication Technician.

We anticipate this role starting at $35.34 per hour.

Lubrication Technicians work in a fast-paced industrial environment that is transforming with technological advancements that make the work environment safer and more efficient.

This role will perform various lubrication functions on industrial equipment to support our operations and reliability of industrial equipment.

Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday- Friday with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

There may be some flexibility around the shift start and end times depending upon candidate need and business need.

What You Will Do



* Responsible for lubrication of equipment assets, maintaining lube room, equipment, and storage


* Work with site personnel to ensure all equipment assets are lubricated with correct lubricant types and quantities, and in the correct intervals


* Collaborate with reliability and planning groups to ensure a preventive maintenance (PM) system is set up to adequately lubricate equipment


* Pulling and processing oil samples, maintain all records pertaining to this process


* Participate in RCA (root cause analysis) process


* Performing all assigned tasks at or above industry standard and document tolerances and other information as required


* Utilize MOE and MP2 to create value-added work requests and prioritize upcoming work assignments


* Maintain auto lube systems


* Applying best environmental practices to all storage, transportation and disposal of all oils and lubricants, containers and residue


* Demonstrates initiative to complete scheduled jobs
