The Opportunity The HR & Talent Specialist supports hiring and employee programs across K12 Coalition, with recruiting as the primary focus.
Once the Senior HR & Talent Manager and a hiring leader establish a role and hiring plan, youll manage the day-to-day process.
Youll coordinate selection steps, keep candidates and hiring teams informed, and carry the work through an accepted offer and new hire handoff.
Youll also help deliver HR programs such as performance reviews, engagement initiatives, and talent reviews.
Reporting to the Senior HR & Talent Manager, youll take responsibility for assigned processes, solve routine issues, and raise questions or recommendations when a decision is needed.
Youll often be one of a candidates first contacts at K12 Coalition, so clear communication and reliable follow-through are central to the role.
What Youll Do Talent Acquisition and Candidate Experience Support hiring plans established by the Senior HR & Talent Manager, keeping assigned searches organized and moving forward from posting through offer.
Be a thoughtful, responsive point of contact for candidates and hiring teams, coordinating each step and keeping people informed along the way.
Organize candidate information and screening results, prepare job-related summaries for the Senior HR & Talent Manager, and flag anything that needs closer review.
Anticipate what each search needs next, address delays, and suggest ways to improve the hiring and candidate experience.
HR Programs and Employee Experience Help deliver performance, engagement, talent review, and other HR programs through clear communications, organized materials, and dependable follow-through.
Administer approved employee agreements and assigned new hire and employee program steps, bringing substantive questions or exceptions to the Senior HR & Talent Manager.
Keep employee information accurate and confidential while taking responsibility for assigned work and keeping your manager informed.
Other Duties Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.
