Scope of Responsibility: Conduit lead position contributes to the overall success of the organization by directing the work flow the electrical department.

Essential Duties: Measure, cut, and bend conduit using measurement and hand toolsThread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support bracketsRead and interprets drawings and specifications to determine the proper location of the wireTroubleshoot prints and any issues that arise in the shelterPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standardsMeasure, cut, and bend conduit using measurement and hand toolsMotivate crew member to increase productivity and meet work goals.Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment compliance with electrical codes and adherence to safety regulations.Assist with wire installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed.Report part shortages, equipment problems, shelter problems, and tool problems to supervisor.Check drawings and wiring schematics for proper devices, circuit wire sizes and color breaker sizes and alarm wiring.Keep all work areas clean throughout the day and make sure that all work and other assigned areas are completely clean before leaving for the day.Follow all department and company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements: High school diploma, or equivalentMust have a working knowledge of basic mathWorking knowledge of basic hand toolsMust be able to; use an electric bender properly,ream pipes,perform offsets, kicks, bends, andinstall wire wayMust have a working knowledge of all load centers and wire way that are installed in sheltersMust be able to work efficiently without supervisionAbility to pay close attention to detail Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materialsMust be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekendsPosition requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individualMust be able...
