Clinical IT Service Manager (m/w/d) KIS/HIS & PACS & Interoperability
Location: Hybrid Role in Vienna, 20% travel
You will act as the central point of coordination between customers, stakeholders, and technical teams, proactively driving continuous improvement and resolving service challenges.
Bringing a strong understanding of clinical processes and data flows, you translate operational feedback into tangible improvements for products and services within complex healthcare environments.
Your Responsibilities:
* Act as the central point of coordination between customers, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring the reliable operation and continuous improvement of clinical IT services
* Drive service excellence across KIS/HIS, RIS, PACS, and related healthcare IT systems, ensuring agreed service levels and high customer satisfaction
* Monitor, analyze, and report on service performance and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve system availability, workflows, and user experience
* Collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize clinical IT processes, data flows, and interoperability across connected healthcare systems
* Coordinate and oversee complex incidents affecting clinical systems, driving timely resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions
* Facilitate transparent communication with customers and stakeholders regarding service performance, operational topics, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Partner closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to support deployments, integrations, interoperability requirements, and operational efficiency
Work Experience
* Experience working with clinical information systems and healthcare workflows, ideally within hospital, radiology, or digital health environments
* Strong understanding of clinical data flows and interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
* Knowledge of healthcare IT ecosystems, including KIS/HIS, RIS, and PACS
* Experience managing or supporting operational services for healthcare applications, digital health platforms, or clinical systems
* Ability to translate operational challenges and customer feedback into service and process improvements
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across customers, clinical users, and technical teams
