MASTER PLUMBER
Position Summary The Master Plumber position is responsible for the service and repair of all plumbing systems and equipment across Housing Authority-owned and managed properties.
This position ensures all properties meet or exceed HUD requirements, including NSPIRE standards, by maintaining safe, sanitary, and fully functional housing conditions.
The Master Plumber plays a critical role in protecting the Housing Authority's physical assets, supporting resident health and safety, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations through proactive maintenance planning, inspections, and execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works closely with the PG&E Regional Coordinator to coordinate maintenance projects and activities.Pull plumbing permits for water heater replacements and small-scale plumbing projectsEnsures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Maintains accurate time sheets and records of work performed.Prepare analytical records and statistical reports.Promotes workplace safety rules and standards.Conducts inspections of LMHA plumbing systems and equipment throughout all properties.Performs skilled plumbing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.Records maintenance activities and work results.Assists in planning and performing preventive maintenance activities.Evaluates unusual maintenance situations and determines appropriate corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements Valid Kentucky Driver's License.Must be available for emergency on-call assignments.Must possess a valid Kentucky State Plumbing Masters License Experience Minimum of three (3) to six (6) years of experience in a related field.

Technology Proficiency Must be able to use tablet, Yardi Maintenance Mobil app, Outlook and have general knowledge of Microsoft programs.
