IT System and Network Administrator
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced System and Network Administrator to support and maintain a reliable enterprise network in Peoria, Arizona.
This IT position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and can manage core infrastructure, strengthen network security, and ensure stable connectivity across business operations.
The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco networking equipment, firewall platforms, Microsoft Windows Servers, and Active Directory in a fast-paced technical setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide training and guidance on infrastructure solutions and related topics to internal IT staff and end usersDesigns, analyzes, maintains, and implements LAN/WAN equipment, network, and telephony infrastructure, including maintenance of security measures and solutions Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switching environments, and LAN connectivity to support daily operationsAdminister virtualization solutions, such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systemsMonitor network performance, identify connectivity issues, and resolve disruptions to maintain consistent system availabilityConfigure, manage, and optimize firewall technologies to protect systems and enforce network security standardsTroubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues across the network and implement timely corrective actionsPerform network updates, configuration changes, and infrastructure improvements while minimizing operational downtimeWorking knowledge of Windows, Linux Servers, Office 365, Active Directory administration, and access managementStrong hands-on knowledge of Cisco routers, Cisco networking, and LAN environments Familiarity with network documentation, maintenance processes, and operational best practicesSupport Multiple sites network infrastructureProvide Level 2 IT support, troubleshooting system and user issues Qualifications: 5 or more years of experience as a network administratorMinimum of 3 years operational experience as a system administratorExtensive operational experience with IPsec VPN tunnel provisioning across multiple platformsStrong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and procedures in a dynamic manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of cybersecurity protocolsExperience with DoD DFARS, NIST, and CMMC cybersecurity practice standards a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player with a proactive and adaptable approachExcellent communication and organizational skills ? Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA or Microsoft CompTIA Working Environment: This role operates in a professional office environment within a high-activity manufacturing facility.
