Maximo Product Manager - Functional Senior Consultant

Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant you will:


* Own the Maximo product strategy for a large-scale, multi-year IBM Maximo / IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) program, including scope, value cases, roadmap, and release planning across modules


* Partner with business and operations leaders to define and operationalize success measures and KPIs (e.g., schedule compliance, backlog health, preventive maintenance completion, wrench time, mean time to repair/mean time between failures where applicable)


* Lead end-to-end process design and continuous improvement across the work lifecycle (request intake, triage, approval, planning, scheduling, execution, completion, and closeout), ensuring operational feasibility and compliance


* Translate operational needs into Maximo capabilities, including configuration requirements, automation opportunities, integration needs, and data standards; maintain clear functional direction through delivery and sustainment


* Own and manage the product backlog, including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and release readiness; coordinate dependencies across business, IT, and delivery teams


* Facilitate workshops and ceremonies (discovery, design, prioritization, refinement) and actively participate/support agile delivery events (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)


* Drive SIT/UAT readiness and execution, partnering with technical teams and business testers to validate solutions, resolve defects, and confirm business outcomes


* Incorporate mobile execution considerations (technician experience, offline/online needs, usability) into process and solution design to improve adoption and productivity
