Your Job

Our Optical Solutions team located in Allen, TX is looking for a Hardware Engineer Electrical Engineer to assist in design, test, and support of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) under the guidance of senior engineers.

•Our team of Hardware Engineers are focused on delivering high-speed electrical design for advanced optical interconnect products including high speed line cards, amplifiers and optical systems.

This role combines a high degree of technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver cutting-edge solutions for hyperscale data centers and next-generation optical networking systems.

What You Will Do


* Create product interfaces and tests using Python.


* Create technical drawings, schematics, procedures and technical reports, providing clear communication to internal teams.


* Conduct tests and inspections of products and test stations to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications.


* Participate in project planning and implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.


* Ensure compliance with Molex quality standards and industry certifications.


* Provide on-site support at production facilities.


* Drive signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.


* Collaborate with optical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for NPI and production.


* Interface with customers and vendors for technical discussions and component selection.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering


* Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and problem-solving abilities


* Experience with Python


* Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross functional teams


* At 1-5 years of hardware design experience

* Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering
