Residential Supervisor

Overview

As a Residential Supervisor at Barber National Institute, you will support our mission of "Making Dreams Come True" by leading residential teams that provide safe, person-centered support and promote belonging, independence, and quality of life for the individuals we serve.

You will provide day-to-day operational leadership for assigned Community Homes, supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Lead DSPs while ensuring high-quality services, regulatory compliance, and effective program operations.

Spending the majority of your time in assigned homes, you will provide coaching, guidance, and operational oversight while remaining outside the direct care staffing ratio.

Working closely with the Associate Director, Program Specialists, Nursing, Human Resources, Behavior Specialists, and other interdisciplinary partners, you will help ensure consistent implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), maintain licensing readiness, support staff development, and promote a safe, respectful, and accountable environment for both individuals receiving services and team members.

This position requires a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.

* Working knowledge of residential human services operations, Chapter 6400 requirements, licensing standards, and regulatory compliance.


* Proficiency with HRIS and documentation systems such as Dayforce and CareLogic, with the ability to learn new systems and technology as needed.


* Ability to promote safe work practices and reinforce organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.


* Ability to travel between assigned Community Homes and other Barber National Institute locations as needed.
