Sanitation Supervisor

The position reports to the Director of Quality.

This position needs to be an energetic sanitation professional who will be responsible for the supervision and direction of the sanitation and housekeeping department on 3 shifts.

Position Requirements: Thorough knowledge of food processing and manufacturing Familiar with GMP's, SSOP's, HACCP, and USDA.Coordinates sanitation and pest control programs to assure the facility, equipment, and grounds meet or exceed corporate, regulatory, and AIB standards.

Own sanitation section of the Quality System Plan.A team player with good organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

Must be results-driven with good interpersonal skills that will motivate the team to successful performance.

2 - 4 years of supervisory experience preferred within the food industry Associate degree preferred or applicable food plant experience.

Training of employees in safety, proper chemical handling, & cleaning procedures Responsibilities include building, grounds, housekeeping, production equipment & facilities sanitation and inspections.Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Responsible for compliance to corporate and site and regulatory sanitation standards and the overall sanitation of the facilityMust be a detailed record keeper of sanitation documents both physical and electronic.

Must maintain Maintain X records.Must be capable of building a strong team of exceptional performers and nurturing leadership skills and opportunities from within the team.

Must maintain inventory of items of which sanitation is responsible.

Must be able to work from 10 pm to 7 am 5-7 days a week depending upon the production schedule and must be able to adjust the work schedule depending upon production and sanitation schedule needs.
