RN - Registered Nurse Coordinator Bone Marrow Transplant

Job Duties

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of patient care related to the bone marrow transplant patients in collaboration with the transplanting physician and the bone marrow transplant interdisciplinary team.

Establishes professional and working rapport with patients, families, referring physicians and support to the operation.

Oversees the maintenance of complete and accurate patient records/data and completes patient reports to the Bone Marrow Transplant Registry.

This role is 40 hours weekly; hours 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required, plus 2 years of RN work experience.

Required Certifications:

  • Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification courses within 3 months of hire.

  • Oncology Certified Nurse required after completion of required hours - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC)
