Job Description:

The Associate Hardware Product Quality Engineer is responsible for driving product and manufacturing quality across the product lifecycle, from new product introduction through high-volume production and sustaining operations.

This role partners closely with internal engineering teams and global contract manufacturing (CM) partners to ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.

The engineer will analyze product and process performance, lead root cause and corrective action activities, manage quality escalations, and support continuous improvement initiatives that drive product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Working within an established framework, this individual applies quality engineering principles to identify risks, resolve manufacturing and product quality issues, and implement effective corrective actions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence internal teams and manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities



* Manage hardware product quality escalations and drive timely resolution of manufacturing, process, and product quality issues.


* Act as the primary quality liaison between the company and global contract manufacturing partners, ensuring adherence to established quality and manufacturing processes.


* Monitor test, inspection, and production yields to identify trends, emerging issues, and opportunities for quality improvement.


* Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA/RCCA) activities for product and process failures.


* Analyze manufacturing, test, and quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements to product designs, test methods, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.


* Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by integrating quality requirements into product development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
