What are we looking for?

The Staff Scientist/Engineer/Geologist will support the Building and Construction business by overseeing the Environmental projects in the Orlando Region.

This position requires travel up to 15% of the time as business needs dictate.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)

What you'll do:


* Perform Environmental Site Assessments including ASTM Phase I, II, and III; FDEP ATC Petroleum and Drycleaner Program projects and deliverables and manage UST and LUST projects.


* Assist Team with soil gas and vapor intrusion investigations, Remedial Action efforts, and Remedial Construction projects.


* Perform Engineering calculations and prepare technical proposals and reports for clients.


* Effectively communicate with subcontractors, team members, and regulators to keep projects aligned with approved project plans and schedule.


* Author technical reports and assist with proposals.


* Understand and work within project budgets to build solid relationships with clients and team members.

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* A bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering from an accredited/ABET school (required)


* 1+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience including site investigation and risk assessment (required)


* Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, organization, as well as time and budget management skills.


* Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one's discipline.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
