What are we looking for?

The Senior Project Engineeris responsible for managing and executing complex engineering projects involving building envelope and facade systems, including windows, storefronts, curtain walls, doors, panels, and other building components.

The position performs engineering analysis, develops technical solutions and deliverables, manages client commitments, and provides technical guidance to project teams and less experienced engineers.

This position may require travel (up to 15% of the time).

What you'll do:


* Assume full responsibility for building product projects, including project management and leading project teams


* Conduct research of building codes, regulations, product standards, manufacturing methods, and quality control systems as necessary to assess conformance with building codes and standards for building materials, products and methods of construction.


* Develop product test plans based upon research findings.


* Communicate with clients on building codes, test preparation, procedures, test results, possible plant audits and reporting matters.


* Perform engineering analysis of test results to assess product performance.


* Create comprehensive reports of product evaluations substantiating conformance with codes and related product standards.


* Provide supervision and guidance to lower-level engineering and technical staff.


* Represent Intertek with participation in industry associations and, codes and standards technical committees.
