DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support the execution of utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and related energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

This role serves as a critical link between engineering, construction, quality, and project management teams, helping ensure projects are built safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design requirements.

The ideal candidate has an interest in construction and engineering disciplines, with exposure to electrical systems, renewable energy, or power infrastructure considered a plus.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being in the field, solving complex problems, collaborating across multiple disciplines, and contributing directly to the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects.

Current Project Site Opportunities

Potential Locations: Sycamore, OH | London, OH

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (flexible based on experience)

Location subject to change based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This is a full-time, site-based position that includes daily per diem and home rotations approximately every 3-4 weeks.

Our Team

The Field Engineering role supports both self-perform and subcontracted construction activities across DEPCOM's utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects nationwide.

Working closely with construction, project management, quality, and engineering teams, Field Engineers help ensure projects are executed according to design, contract requirements, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.

What You Will Do


* Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulatory agencies to support project execution and resolve technical field issues.


* Partner with Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams to support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and verify work is executed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.


* Manage engineering and construction documentation, including redlines, as-builts, field reports, inspection records, and turnover packages.


* Generate, track, and facilitate Requests for Information (RFIs) between project stakeholders to support timely issue resolution and minimize impacts to schedule and productivity.


* Review material submittals, engineering packages, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.


* Support field verification and installation activities associated with electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure, including coordination between engineering and construction teams.


* Support project teams in identifying and mitigating construction risks, constraints, and execution challenges through proactive coordination and communication.
