Your Job

As Product Development Project Manager, you will lead projects to meet or exceed approved scope, business case, quality, and timing commitments.

Your portfolio will primarily include new product development projects, as well as capacity tooling and continuous improvement initiatives within the Industrial Automation and Electrical and Power supply industries.

Our Team

Our Program and Project Management team is part of Molex's Industrial Solutions Business Unit.

We lead the delivery of new product development opportunities for the general market and focus customers.

In this role, you will collaborate with all internal functions and engage directly with customers.

What You Will Do


* Ensure the cross-functional team meets or exceeds the approved project plan for scope, business case, quality, and timing.

Conduct regular risk assessments, implement mitigation actions, and escalate issues promptly when required.


* Lead cross-functional teams through project execution, from approval to successful launch into serial production.


* Guide project teams in applying the Global Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure disciplined and consistent project execution.


* Serve as the primary customer contact during the development of customized solutions and support global Sales and Marketing teams throughout the project development cycle.


* Understand, support, and contribute to our Performance-Based Management business philosophy by applying its techniques, principles, and frameworks.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or in a related field.


* Project management certification from PMI or an equivalent organization.


* Five or more years of experience in project management, product development, or a combination of both.


* Strong cross-functional team leadership skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, plan and prioritize work, and monitor progress against commitments.


* Demonstrate the ability to understand customer needs, respond with urgency, and maintain a strong service orientation.

* P rofessional proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.


* Experience in the data center infrastructure industry, with a strong understanding of customer requirements and expectations.


* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external contacts.

* Strong presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise, and effective messages to customers and Molex management.
