Quality Inspector BMN2 (6pm-6am)

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for adhering to the SOPs, inspection instructions and work instructions that are in effect, by assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

The Quality Inspector will keep inspection/work area clean based on the 5S methodology and comply with company policies and procedures.
 


* Perform incoming and internal inspections and testing of materials and parts usingvisual inspection, gauges, fixtures, and other inspection equipment according to established quality standards and inspection plans. 


* Inspect parts and processes at the beginning, during, and end Of shifts to ensure compliance with quality plans, work instructions, SOPS, and inspection requirements. 


* Conduct in-process sampling and physical product testing, complete required documentation, and prepare inspection reports for measurements and test results as needed. 


* Proper containment and control of non-conforming material.

Escalate as necessary and support Production in containment(s) as needed. 


* Maintain organized (5S) detailed records, workstations and instruments during the activities being performed and support the activity of keeping work or inspection instructions updated. 


* Support customer, internal and external IATF 16949 audit programs as required.

 

 


* High School Diploma or equivalent required 


* No experience in quality inspection.

Previous experience of 1 + years in manufacturing environment preferred 


* Basic Math skills and computer skills required 


* Microsoft Office products skills preferred 


* Knowledge of tools including Vernier calipers, go/no gauges, templates, etc.

* Must possess proficiency in spoken and reading English sufficient to perform the essential functions of this role.
