Join our INVISTA Orange, TX site as an Analyzer Technician.

We are seeking technicians with analyzer experience who can troubleshoot, maintain, and improve critical analyzer systems that support safe and reliable plant operations.

In this role, you will apply your analyzer expertise while working alongside instrumentation and electrical technicians as part of a multi-craft maintenance team.

Our Team

Our Maintenance team includes skilled Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, and Pipefitter technicians.

The team works closely with Operations, Reliability, Process Engineering, and Safety groups to maintain safe and reliable operations.

You will work closely with Operations and Engineering to improve analyzer reliability and operational performance while supporting maintenance and reliability objectives.

This team works a 4/10 schedule with overtime as needed.

What You Will Do



* Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, inspect, and maintain process analyzers and analyzer systems


* Maintain gas chromatographs, process analyzers, analyzer shelters, and sample conditioning systems


* Support startup, shutdown, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities associated with analyzer equipment


* Troubleshoot instrumentation associated with analyzer systems


* Perform basic electrical troubleshooting associated with analyzer equipment


* Develop analyzer maintenance procedures and improve existing procedures


* Maintain accurate analyzer calibration, inspection, and maintenance records


* Collaborate with Operations, Reliability, and Engineering teams to improve analyzer performance and reliability


* Perform preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance activities


* Identify reliability opportunities and recommend equipment upgrades and improvements


* Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions


* Coordinate with third-party vendors for analyzer support, services, and replacement parts


* Support Team-Based Maintenance initiatives and reliability improvements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* 3+ years of analyzer, instrumentation, process control, or related maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility


* Experience troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining process analyzers


* Experience interpreting technical drawings, procedures, and equipment documentation


* Experience troubleshooting instrumentation associated with analyzer systems

Physical Requirements



* Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, acid suits, breathing air, gloves, safety boots, respirators, arc flash suits, and encapsulated suits.

PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task.
