We are searching for the best talent for Principal Scientist in Chemical Process R&D to be in Beerse.

Purpose:

As Principal Scientist in Chemical Process R&D (CPRD), you will lead and execute research to develop therapeutic agents, with a focus on originating high‑quality scientific experiments, advancing methodologies, and applying state‑of‑the‑art scientific knowledge.

You will take leadership roles across projects at different stages of development and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications / Requirements:


* Ph.D.

degree with minimum 5 years of experience in the area of process chemistry within the pharmaceutical industry


* Master in Organic chemistry or related area with minimum 7 years of professional experience in process chemistry


* Ability to connect and adapt rapidly with different cultural environments


* Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations as scientific leader


* Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English both verbal and in writing


* Team player mentality, the ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment to find solutions for complex problems, willing to challenge the status quo in a constructive manner


* Strong hands‑on lab expertise designing, running, and troubleshooting complex experiments; solid understanding of process development principles.
