DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support the execution of utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

This role serves as a critical link between engineering, construction, quality, and project management teams, helping ensure projects are built safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design requirements.

Potential Locations: Baconton, GA | East Dublin, GA

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (flexible based on experience)

Location subject to change based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This is a full-time, site-based position that includes daily per diem and home rotations approximately every 3-4 weeks.

Our Team

The Field Engineering role supports both self-perform and subcontracted construction activities across DEPCOM's utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects nationwide.

Working closely with construction, project management, quality, and engineering teams, Field Engineers help ensure projects are executed according to design, contract requirements, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.

What You Will Do


* Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulatory agencies to support project execution and resolve technical field issues.


* Partner with Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams to support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and verify work is executed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Manage engineering and construction documentation, including redlines, as-builts, field reports, inspection records, and turnover packages.


* Generate, track, and facilitate Requests for Information (RFIs) between project stakeholders to support timely issue resolution and minimize impacts to schedule and productivity.


* Review material submittals, engineering packages, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.


* Support project teams in identifying and mitigating construction risks, constraints, and execution challenges through proactive coordination and communication.


* Maintain visibility into subcontractors and self-perform scope execution, helping drive accountability to quality, safety, and contractual requirements.


* Coordinate inspections and approvals with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), utility representatives, and project stakeholders throughout construction.


* Utilize drones and related technologies to monitor construction progress, document site conditions, and support issue identification and resolution.
