Junior Estimator – Price Commercial Building-Envelope & Restoration Projects (Building Restoration Services)

The Opportunity:

You will help take ownership of the estimating lifecycle, turning complex restoration challenges into accurate, highly competitive bid packages.

Operating between the office and active field sites across the I-495 belt, your disciplined cost analysis will directly drive business growth.

This role places you at the center of project planning, ensuring our field teams have executable scopes built on realistic production rates.

How You Will Make an Impact:


* Analyze contract documents, specifications, addenda, and consultant reports to establish precise project scopes.


* Conduct mandatory field investigations across project sites to identify concealed conditions, access limits, and safety risks.


* Calculate comprehensive labor, material, equipment, and access costs tailored specifically to building restoration requirements.


* Plan and cost specialized vertical access systems including scaffolding, swing stages, mast climbers, and aerial lifts.


* Assist in soliciting, evaluating, and leveling vendor and subcontractor bids to eliminate scope gaps.


* Formulate professional proposals detailing precise scope inclusions, exclusions, and value-engineering alternatives.


* Attend project turnover meetings with superintendents and project managers to transfer bid assumptions to field execution.

Required Qualifications & Experience:


* Minimum of 3 years of construction estimating experience.


* Strong proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel for quantity takeoffs and cost modeling.


* Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 10% to job sites across the regional territory.


* Strong mathematical, analytical, and written communication skills with strict attention to deadline accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


* Direct background estimating commercial building-envelope and specialty restoration projects.


* Familiarity with industry-specific estimating and construction management 


* Demonstrated working knowledge of masonry, concrete repair, waterproofing, coatings, sealants, and restoration access systems.software suites.

Compensation & Benefits:
