This may include, but is not limited to, processing and reconciling accounts receivable, collecting payments, supporting general ledger accounting and account and bank reconciliation, giving information on the facility, products and services, and assisting with reservations.

This position may be referred to as a Member Service Specialist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to supplies and inventory.Use documents to verify, record and process transactions.Speaking with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and the payments are received in a timely manner.Communicate with customers to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies.Accepting and reconciling daily cash, credit and check payments, and following up with past due balances.Developing and maintaining effective and friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.Responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in person, and providing excellent customer service.Providing information on marina products and services.Routine administrative tasks including office leasing.Availability to work overtime in order to meet deadlines.Other duties as assigned by Manager.
