We are currently looking forQuality Assurance Techniciansat US Smokeless Tobacco inHopkinsville, KY.

The position will work in support of the manufacturing process using validated techniques and quality tools to monitor and inspect processes and packaging operations.

You will also perform laboratory procedures, inspect products, measure process performance, and record data.

You are open to working 7pm-5:30am (3rd shift).
What you will be doing:


* Utilizing established sampling/inspection plans and procedures, perform analytical evaluations to monitor quality attributes to assure compliance to specified requirements.


* Document, analyze & report test results and communicate to QA Management and Manufacturing.


* Assess data for compliance to specifications, assure the initiation of remedial actions for potential out-of-control conditions and deviations.


* Verify/Calibrate laboratory & manufacturing equipment and adjust accordingly within a predefined and limited protocol.


* Provides training and guidance for contractors and FQA personnel.

What we want you to have:


* Minimum Associate's degree from a two-year college Science/Technology/Engineering/Business or 5 years of work experience.


* Bachelor's degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Business plus 1 year of work experience.


* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills (i.e.

root cause analysis)


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)


* Certified Quality Technician or Certified Quality Auditor is helpful, but not required.


* Experience with LIMS, TrackWise and Inventory Management Systems.


* Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

and be on feet most of the day.


* You are open to working 3rd shift.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions.

The Salary Range for this position is: $55,500.00 - $80,400.00.
