Shop Supervisor - San Antonio, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations



* Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and workflow.


* Assign work tasks and monitor employee productivity and performance.


* Ensure packages are received, stored, issued, and tracked accurately.


* Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and inventory controls.


* Monitor warehouse cleanliness and organization standards.


* Ensure timely completion of warehouse projects and operational goals.

Staff Supervision



* Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse personnel.


* Conduct employee training and provide ongoing performance feedback.


* Monitor attendance, work quality, and productivity.


* Promote a positive team environment and adherence to company policies.


* Ensure staff comply with all safety procedures and operational requirements.

Equipment and Fleet Oversight



* Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and company vehicles.


* Identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs.


* Perform minor troubleshooting and basic repairs when appropriate.


* Maintain equipment maintenance records and inspection documentation.


* Ensure safe operation of facility equipment.

Safety and Compliance



* Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies.


* Conduct safety inspections and address hazards promptly.


* Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.


* Promote a culture of workplace safety and accountability.


* Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Administrative Responsibilities



* Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records.


* Utilize computer systems for tracking inventory, work orders, and reporting.


* Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and project planning activities.


* Support operational improvement initiatives and special projects.


* Communicate effectively with management, employees, vendors, and customers.

Minimum Qualifications

Education



* High School Diploma or GED required.


* Additional technical, vocational, or warehouse management training preferred.

Experience



* Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, logistics, or operations experience.


* Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.


* Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



* Strong leadership and team management skills.


* Excellent attention to detail.


* Basic project management experience.


* Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills.


* Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office applications.
