Finance Accountant - Nursery, TX / Salary Grade 10

The Finance Accountant is entrusted with ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounts payable functions, encompassing invoice processing, expense reporting, and payment reconciliation.

This position entails the preparation, review, and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and associated reports to maintain compliance with established standards and procedures.

Additionally, the Finance Accountant provides support across various accounting office activities, assisting during staff absences to ensure seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities further include cash flow management, financial forecasting, credit rating updates, transmission cost-of-service filings, bond payments, preparation of board reports, compliance reporting, budgeting for finance-related matters, as well as journal processing and reconciliation for financial transactions.

Working Conditions General office and sedentary.

Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.

Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, ability to reach and bend using 2-step stool while safely lifting and lowering boxes.

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events.

May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
