System Administrator

SUMMARY The System Administrator will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert, providing not only strategic vision and guidance but also driving initiatives through their own technical abilities.

They will manage a modern, cloud-based technology stack, focusing on security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.

Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the IT systems.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and determine opportunities for IT solutions.

Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the IT infrastructure.

Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.

Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Manages implementation and configuration of systems and platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE: Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and services in a cloud-based environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

In-depth knowledge of best practices for system administration and network security.

Experience with budget management, capability analysis, and resource allocation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile processes and methodologies.
