Job responsibilities


* Lead a high-performing team providing control oversight for an Operations product organization and strategic guidance supporting the responsible adoption of AI across Consumer and Community Banking Operations.



* Provide strategic leadership in identifying, assessing, and managing compliance and operational risks.


* Partner with Operations Product and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen the control environment and support business objectives.


* Promote the consistent interpretation and application of applicable policies, standards, and governance requirements.


* Anticipate emerging risks and implementation challenges and drive practical, innovative enhancements to governance and control practices.


* Guide the development of effective, sustainable controls and drive timely resolution of identified gaps.


* Provide senior management with clear, actionable insights regarding risks, controls, issues, and emerging areas of focus.


* Leverage strong project management skills to lead strategic initiatives, manage delivery, and influence the continued development of the control management approach.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills



* 10 years of experience in control management within the financial services sector, with a focus on compliance, operational risk management and technology risk.


* Proven experience leading control oversight for a product, business, or function within a large, complex organization.


* People leadership skills, including setting strategic direction, developing talent, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability.


* Strategic thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop practical, innovative solutions.
