Job Description: PA Offer Manager

Role context: Ready to drive a meaningful IMPACT in shaping how we bring offers to market? This role bridges global offer strategy with India market execution for Process Automation, combining portfolio ownership and roadmap, go-to-market leadership, commercial performance, and customer-backed innovation across industrial automation segments.

(Why Position exists)

• Lead and grow Process Automation Offer portfolio for Greater India with ownership of offers across ePAC Controllers, DCS, Open SDA, connectivity and related software's.

• Translate global Process Automation offer roadmaps into India-relevant portfolio choices, unique value propositions, launch priorities, pricing actions and sales enablement.

• Build a differentiated offer strategy for target segments with sharp focus on growth, profitability and market-share expansion.

• Champion OPEN software-defined open automation by positioning hardware-independent, interoperable and application-centric architectures that reduce vendor lock-in and improve agility for customers.

• Act as the strategic and operational reference point between Global teams, India Sales, Segment Marketing, Prescription, Channel Ecosystem and customers to drive end-to-end offer lifecycle performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualifications

Must have

BE/BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or equivalent engineering discipline.

Good to have

Discrete & Process Automation Exposure,

MBA / PGDM, product management certification, commercial strategy exposure, or specialization in industrial software / digital transformation

Relevant Experience

6+ years in PLC/DCS/SCADA, process control architectures, automation software, portfolio management, go-to-market execution, or customer-facing solution positioning.

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of PLC, DCS, SCADA, industrial networks, cybersecure architectures and process control applications.

• Segment depth in Heavy Industries, Infrastructure, NEL or hybrid/process industries.

• Domain knowledge of software-defined open automation concepts: decoupling software from hardware, open standards, interoperability, reusable libraries and modular application design.

• Exposure to EcoStruxure Automation Expert, AVEVA, UAO, OT/IT convergence, AI-enabled operations and cybersecurity.

Functional competencies

• Offer strategy, portfolio lifecycle management, product launch, go-to-market planning, pricing, forecast/pipeline governance and business performance tracking.

• Ability to convert market intelligence, competitor activity and customer pain points into offer gaps, roadmap asks, value propositions and sales plays.

• Strong presentation, stakeholder management and influencing skills across sales, global teams, prescription, channels, SI partners and customers.
