Terminal Manager

About the Role Penn Tank Lines is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead operations at one of our terminals.

This role is responsible for overall terminal performance, including financial results, safety and compliance, service execution, customer satisfaction, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate brings strong operational judgment, takes ownership of results, and works effectively within a structured environment where service, safety, and accountability matter every day.

Core Responsibilities Lead terminal operations with accountability for cost control, service performance, profitability, and overall business resultsAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends, address performance gaps, and implement practical improvementsEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies across terminal operationsMaintain accountability for service levels, fleet utilization, and customer commitments while resolving operational issues as they ariseDevelop and implement transportation strategies that support profitability, service objectives, and efficient executionBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure consistent service delivery and support business retentionHire, train, coach, and manage terminal staff and drivers in accordance with company policies and performance expectationsPartner with internal teams to support process improvements, operational consistency, and long-term terminal success
