About the Role

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Physiotherapist to work across our Western Australian operations, providing specialised expertise in the prevention and management of workplace musculoskeletal disorders.

This role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate and is offered as a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

The successful candidate will be primarily based at our Pinjarra Refinery, with periodic travel to our Wagerup and Kwinana Refineries as required.

Reporting to the Human Factors Lead, you will apply your specialised knowledge and clinical expertise across a broad scope of activities, including early intervention, injury assessment, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and proactive workplace risk management.

Working closely with employees, leaders, and health professionals, you will play a key role in maximising employee capacity, improving recovery outcomes, reducing injury-related risks, and supporting a safe, healthy, and productive workforce.

In this role, your key responsibilities will involve:


* Manage and triage a physiotherapy caseload in line with clinical priorities and service needs, ensuring early contact, assessment and review of musculoskeletal injuries through a range of consultation methods including face-to-face, telehealth and telephone services.


* Conduct clinical assessments of musculoskeletal disorders, develop treatment and management plans, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatment and exercise rehabilitation programmes to support recovery and return to work outcomes.


* Partner with employees, leaders, rehabilitation consultants and site stakeholders to conduct workplace assessments, provide practical recommendations, and improve rehabilitation case management outcomes and timeframes.


* Assist in the development and delivery of education, coaching and guidance for personnel involved in the injury management process, building capability and understanding in musculoskeletal injury prevention, assessment and management.


* Work collaboratively with Safety and operational teams to contribute to injury investigations, identify contributing factors, develop preventative action plans, and apply biopsychosocial principles to musculoskeletal injury prevention and management.
