Assistant Manager, Service Order and Planning

Job Responsibilities:


* Lead and manage the graveyard shift planning team, ensuring competency development, work capacity, and smooth night-shift operations.


* Oversee Service Order and Contract creation/booking in ERP systems, ensuring accurate account details, payment conditions, and purchase order validations.


* Direct work order (WO) scheduling, prioritization based on SLAs, and resource alignment (spare parts, workforce, tools, travel optimization).


* Coordinate with planners, logistics, sales, project managers, and field technicians to drive service execution quality and maintain target gross margins.


* Oversee backlog management, smoothing workload distribution over 3-month rolling horizons, and monitoring productivity KPIs (utilization rate, travel time, WO overdue rates).

Job Requirements:


* Proven operational experience in Order Booking, Planning, and Service Operations.


* Demonstrated experience in people management, leadership, or senior operational coordination.


* Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, BFS, or equivalent).


* Open to working night/graveyard shift schedules (3x on-site RTO requirement).


* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
