Project Coordinator 2 (Distribution)

Position Overview BLOC Resources is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator 2 (Distribution) to support Southern Company operations in Calera, Alabama.

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the successful execution of utility distribution projects, with responsibilities spanning project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, procurement, documentation, reporting, risk identification, change management, and stakeholder communication.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, engineers, field personnel, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule, properly resourced, accurately documented, and aligned with established safety, quality, budget, and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of project coordination experience, preferably within the utility or energy industry, along with strong Microsoft Excel capabilities and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
