Position Overview
As part of the global diversified building materials group, CRH, Americas Materials (AMAT) is currently recruiting for the position of Financial Analyst within the Corporate Finance team based in Atlanta, GA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing and maintaining key financial reporting and metrics for company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly cost detail reporting
* Coordinate reviews with corporate cost center owners relating to actuals/forecast as needed
* Submit monthly forecast adjustments/updates in Hyperion planning for corporate entities
* Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior management
* Support Quarterly US GAAP & IFRS reporting submission
* Assist with internal and external audit requests
* Support annual budget collection, consolidation and review for the corporate entities
* Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data efficiency and quality
* Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company
* Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
* Ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
Education/Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field
* 2-3 years' experience in general finance and accounting areas or in industry
* Previous relevant experience in an operations/manufacturing environment preferred
Work Requirements
* Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting resources.
* Must be 18 years in age or older.
* Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
* Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
* Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
* Strong financial background essential
* Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidation systems such as Hyperion Financial Manager or Hyperion Planning preferred
* Demonstrate strong technical and functional abilities in all areas of financial analysis
* Team player with excellent inter-personal and oral/written communication skills
* Advanced analytical skills with a high attention to detail
