Role Overview          

As an Export Operations Agent, you will work alongside approximately 170 colleagues across the UK to support the processes and activities required to move goods through customers’ global supply chains.

You will coordinate Air and Ocean transportation while maximising profitability and making effective use of business and people resources in line with our strategy and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:


* Deliver excellent customer service in line with DGF’s 10 Customer Commitments.


* Support and contribute to the delivery of the company’s overall strategy.


* Manage the end-to-end delivery of Air and Ocean Export shipments for a designated portfolio of customers.


* Communicate effectively with customers to understand and meet their requirements.


* Maintain and manage operational data, including completing financial reviews.


* Support the delivery and monitoring of objectives set by the Station Manager, focusing on maximising profitability, driving volume growth and maintaining high service quality.


* Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and service providers.


* Support the Sales team in its interactions with key customers.


* Ensure full compliance with the relevant requirements of each country.


* Ensures that all interactions are compliant with DPDHL Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements e.g.

anti-corruption


* Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program
