At APV, we Always Provide Value POSITION SUMMARY The Technical Writer/Editor will develop, edit, and quality-review clear, accurate, accessible documentation and learning materials supporting training modernization.
Working with instructional designers, subject matter experts, instructors, eLearning and multimedia specialists, and quality and accessibility personnel, this role will translate complex scientific, regulatory, technical, and procedural content into consistent, audience-appropriate materials.
The writer-editor will support evaluation and modernization of existing courses and development of new courses by producing complete, publication-ready course material packages that comply with client requirements and project document-control practices.
DUTIES Write, substantively edit, copyedit, and proofread instructor guides, student guides and manuals, presentations, job aids, handouts, practice exercises, assessments, evaluation instruments, course reports, plans, meeting records, and other contract deliverables.Collaborate with instructional designers and regulatory, and program subject matter experts to organize complex source material and express it in clear, concise, accurate language appropriate for adult learners.Preserve technical meaning while improving structure, readability, terminology, grammar, punctuation, consistency, and instructional flow across classroom, virtual, hybrid, and digital materials.Verify that course content, captions, labels, references, procedures, exercises, answer keys, and assessment language are internally consistent and traceable to approved source materials, learning objectives, and SME validation.Apply project editorial standards, client Visual Identity requirements, approved templates, plain-language practices, and consistent naming, formatting, and citation conventions across each complete course materials package.Coordi...
